Access is denied (win10 64 - mos version 2.18.0)

If you are asking a question, please follow this template:

  1. My goal is: Run mos command consecutively without physically disconnecting a USB device
  2. My actions are: Execute mos command using interface more than once
  3. The result I see is: I get the “Access is denied”
  4. My expectation & question is: Identify mos issue, setup workaround or a fix

As you can see in the picture below, this is just the step 7 from the quickstart setup
, but after each mos command (flash, wifi, gcp-iot-setup, call Sys.Reboot), I got the “Access is denided”. So I have to remove USB device and plug it again :disappointed:

I just got this laptop (Win10), and I make sure there is nothing else trying to access the COM port (at least by me). I already have some months working using mos. This setup works fine before. It worked fine on the other laptops, but I believe it may be this version (2.18.0).

Here is jut the Get Started steps

Well, 2.18.0 works like a charm for me under Linux, and I usually send flash and console in a row. Looks like Windoze is not letting mos access the USB port again.
Did you try using the command prompt separating commands with a semicolon ?
mos flash; mos console
