Your binary is still on 6.7 (incorrectly labeled as 6.9). Could you get it updated it to the current version? Hoping a new build would get around the fact that Windows Defender immediately quarantines it upon downloading. Also might be nice to see what’s new. I take it there aren’t many Windows users there at Cesanta HQ?
@mica Rebuilding would not magically make defender shut up.
They have false positives in their signatures.
You can see what’s new in https://github.com/cesanta/mongoose/releases - that’s mainly about embedded use case, not relevant to the windows binary usage.
@cpq It might, since Defender is just quarantining it based on a hash at this point. Perhaps a new build would be deemed less of a threat by their current heuristics.
