The ESP-IDF 4.2 r1 contains the UART 2 FIFO Buffer reset issue stated in:

Is there a planned update from your side to fix this issue?

That fix is not included in the current version of esp-idf used by mOS.
I’d suggest to contact the mOS’s developers here.
